Reception, Years 1 & 2 will have their party on the afternoon of Wednesday 18th December and Years 3-6 will be on the afternoon of Thursday 19th December. We would be grateful for donations of food, both sweet and savoury, which should be sent in the morning of the party. Children should come to school in their uniforms and bring their party clothes in a bag, clearly marked with their name. They will be given time to change before the parties.
Our Christmas Performances this year are on Tuesday 17th December at 10am and 1:30pm. Tickets are £1 each and are available from the School Office. Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils (Years 1 and 2) will be singing a medley of songs and Key Stage 2 pupils (Years 3-6) will perform ‘Stable Manners.’ All money raised from ticket sales will go into our school fund which is used to buy resources for the children that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford.
Our Christmas Fayre is on Friday 13th December at 2pm. Please come along to support us and join in the festivities! Your child may be collected from their classroom – please make sure you sign them out before taking them along to the Fayre.
Parents of Children currently in Reception to Year 6 – please visit the link below to consent for your child (one for each child) to receive their flu vaccine in the autumn term 2019. This consent must be completed by 27th September to ensure we can vaccinate your child when we are in school.
You will be asked to enter a secure school code:
Code : 114127
This vaccination programme is in place to help protect your child against flu. Flu can be an unpleasant illness and sometimes causes serious complications. Vaccinating your child will also help protect more vulnerable friends and family by preventing the spread of flu. Please ensure you read and understand all the information at the above link before you complete the on line form.
The vaccination is free and recommended for young children and is given via a quick and simple spray up the nose.
If you have any questions or do not have internet access to complete the form please do not hesitate to contact us on: 0300 0030 013
We really value parental feedback and would appreciate it if you could complete our online survey. There are only 10 questions so it should take no more than a couple of minutes! Please click the following link or scan the QR code to continue to our survey:

Just a reminder that the children return to school after the half term break on Tuesday 4th June.
We have recently been made aware of concerns relating to “a challenge” which is a form of cyberbullying that spreads through social media and phones mostly using Whatsapp. Phone users are enticed to contact a user through WhatsApp where they receive graphic threats from the user and are instructed to perform a series of dangerous tasks. Despite claims that the phenomenon was reaching worldwide proportions in July 2018, the number of actual complaints is relatively small and no UK police force has confirmed anyone was actually harmed.
Some children have been talking about this in school and we have therefore sent a letter home letter containing advice for parents. A hard copy has been given to all children to take home.
