Oak Class is made up of our Year 3 children. Our teacher is Mrs Cox .
Homework
Homework is given out on a Friday, to be handed in the following Wednesday. Help is always available in class if needed and a Homework Club runs every Monday after school.
Spellings
Weekly spellings are based on a spelling rule. Each week the children will investigate the spelling rule in class and will then have a spelling list to learn for a test each Friday.
PE
Our PE lesson is on a Wednesday. Please send your child to school wearing his/her PE kit under black joggers and a school jumper.
Reading
Every child will be given a reading book at an appropriate level according to their ability. Please help support your child by hearing them read at least three times a week and signing their diary with any comments you would like to make. Children read their books every day in class, so please ensure they bring their books in on a daily basis. Children with Lexia logins would also benefit from accessing the programme at home for at least 20 minutes a week if possible.
