Eco Team

After our successful cupcake event in the summer term of 2016 we raised a 10th of our target amount for new bins in the school yard.

The Eco team at the Hill site is undergoing re-election of posts ready for the visit by Emma from the School Carbon Reduction Program.

The Eco Team at the Village site focused on waste during the autumn.  They went on a litter pick around the village, with Rainbow Class, and collected nine large bags of rubbish. The newly appointed classroom monitors checked that all rooms in the school had correctly labelled rubbish and recycling bins.

We held a whole school tree planting event in the Wildlife area in preparation for the improvements that will take place in 2017 using our successful grant from the Tesco bags of help scheme.
