Our after school clubs change on a half termly basis. Our current clubs for the first half of the Spring Term 2020 are:
- Boxercise – 3:15-4:15pm this is run by a coach from the School Sports Partnership and the club is currently full.
- Homework Club – 3:15 – 4:00pm for children in Years 1-6
- Durham Area Youth will be running a club for children over 7 years of age. The first session is from 3:15-4:30 at a cost of £1.50 and this will include a tea time meal. The session will include a range of activities – multi-sports, arts and crafts, cooking and much more. Children can stay on after this session to a Youth Club Session from 4:30-6:00pm. This session will also be open to other children aged 7-11 who live nearby. The cost of this session is £1.
- Coding Club 3:15-4pm for girls in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. This will run for 5 weeks (the last session will be on Wednesday 27th February.
ALL children must be collected from clubs by an adult as the nights are still dark.
Forest School Club
Forest School training has been happening over the year increasing the number of children that have access to engaging lessons. We have been pond dipping, plant identifying, cooking, den building, planting, sculpture creating, necklace designing, tool using and treasure hunting.
Forest School Club will run during the Summer and Autumn Terms.
Wrap Around Care:
We also have Breakfast Club every morning from 8.00am till 8.45am. This costs £2 per day. After school we operate a Tea Club – there are 2 sessions, the first 3:15-4:30pm and the second 4:30 – 5:45pm. The cost for this is £4 per session.
